To introduce myself in two words...
Born in 1971, I'm Swiss and I've been practicingEcotherapy and shamanism taught by the Fss (foundation for shamanic studies ) for just over 10 years now.
I studied the techniques reported by Michael Harner at the Fss with Ulla Straessle, Paul and Roswita Uccusic, Michael Hasslinger and Laurent Huguelit.
I supplemented this practice with travels - notably to Mexico among the Huichol Indians - but also to Guatemala, Iceland, Mongolia, Canada, Tuva in Siberia and the USA.
I have also studied the basics of kinesiology with the Touch for Health method (Switzerland), Akashic Memories (Guatemala), the rudiments of Marshal Rosenberg's Non-Violent Communication (Switzerland) and the ancestral techniques of Vision Quest, Walking Directions around the Medicine Wheel and Talking Circle (USA).
I trained at The School of lost Borders (California) as a rite of passage guide (www.wildernessguidescouncil.org) and specifically as a nature vision quest guide.
Since 2016, I've been offering this fasting ritual in nature in Switzerland and abroad. It's a vocation and an honor to accompany beings on this path of discovery, liberation and truthfulness. And I thank Meredith Little for her unfailing guidance and role model in this essential work.
Since 2018, I am a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide and I develop and practice Forest Baths as well as Ecotherapy in French-speaking Switzerland.
I also took advantage of the two years of the pandemic to train online with exceptional people and visionaries of our time:
- Certificate in Ecopsychology from the renowned Pacifica Graduate Institute, California, in 2020.
- Online Certificate in Restorative Justice in 2020 with Janine Carroll and her magnificent work at restorativenow
- Certificate in Embodied Social Justice online in 2021 with a teacher and an important voice, that of REV. ANGEL KYODO WILLIAMS.
These practices seem to me to be complementary, mutually enriching and of great benefit to me - both from a personal point of view and in terms of offering a warm welcome, a listening ear and quality care to the people who come to me.
I don't consider myself a therapist, nor do I wish to adopt that stance. Above all, I like to see people find their own solutions and access their own resources and those of the universe that supports them.
I deeply believe that simply being able to reconnect with invisible worlds, spiritual forces, nature and wonder brings concrete solutions not only to the individual, but perhaps also to the planet - which seems urgent. Basically, I don't see shamanic practitioners or deep-ecology guides as healers or shrinks, but rather as power brokers, intermediaries, facilitators, and sometimes even teachers. Holding space, lighting a spark, making a link.
For me, shamanism and deep ecology enable human beings to rediscover their place in the world, not above or outside it, but in it, with it. Modern society teaches that paradise has been lost, that man is at the center of the world and below God. In my view, the solution lies in abandoning this vision altogether and rediscovering the link with and belonging to the same animal, plant, mineral and spiritual world.
It's also a place of freedom and discovery, of journeys to sources and knowledge. It's a quest I'd like to pursue even further.
